It’s the most flexible rehabilitation program that can be tailored to each patient individually to achieve the greatest treatment progress. The TheraSuit method represents a comprehensive approach incorporating the most effective rehabilitation techniques suitable for individuals of all ages. This globally recognized method is applied to various disabilities, patients with orthopedic difficulties, or after an accident or injury.
TheraSuit Method
Why is
the TheraSuit Method successful?
Intensity Therapy
Just as it’s possible to create an individualized plan, it’s also possible to adjust the intensity of the TheraSuit therapy.
- Individualized rehabilitation plan – if needed, duration 1 – 3 hours per session (mostly for orthopedic patients)
- Intensive rehabilitation plan – for neurological patients, the intensity of the TheraSuit program plays an important role, which, based on years of experience, is set for 2-4 weeks of rehabilitation from 3 to 5 hours daily on weekdays. The TheraSuit therapy itself lasts for 3 hours, and if we want to support cognitive abilities or involve the treatment of the vestibular system in the therapeutic process, the integration of neonatal reflexes will be adjusted to the duration of the program.
3 hours of therapy? Is that actually achievable?
At this time, a comprehensive rehabilitation program was prepared for patients that has already helped many of our satisfied patients from all over Europe. And what does it include?
- Diagnostics
- Warm-up exercises
- Neuromobilization
We’ve completed the warm-up and can now move on to strength training.
- Strength training lying down with various weights
Spider therapy – DThe patient assumes a kneeling or standing position, secured by a special harness connected to rubber bands affixed to the Rocher cage for stability. The exercise regimen is tailored to individual needs, with the option to adjust the height of the rubber bands. Higher attachment facilitates ease for the patient, while lower attachment enhances strength during independent standing. This method enables verticalization even for patients with severe neurological conditions. Additionally, spider therapy can be practiced:
- On the vibration plate
- On stabilization pads
- During strength training with weights
- For practicing fine motor skills in the form of a game
Butterfly – ever flown? Thanks to the equipment that comes with the Rocher cage, it’s possible to hang patients in flight mode, whether to strengthen posture and head lifting or to set up various strengthening exercises.
Therapy ball / treadmill / pathway / Motren / stairs – the program is also individually prepared to meet the patient’s needs.
Mobilization techniques – on Tuesdays and Thursdays, patients relax after therapy thanks to passive mobilization techniques that effectively influence range of motion.
Mud pack – on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, our patients enjoy the soothing effects of a warm mud pack after treatment.
TheraSuit Therapy
WITH or WITHOUT TheraSuit Suit?
It is only used in neurological patients when we want to stabilize the correct posture or strengthen all or some muscle groups.
However, the TheraSuit suit suit would also be suitable for healthy athletes aiming high goals and wanting to “boost” their training with additional weights. The rubber bands on the suit are adjustable, and if you tighten them, you can hang weights on your muscles. That’s why the TheraSuit method is suitable for everyone!
